Help with geometry? These are the last three questions on my test and I don't understand, so if you could explain the process so I know in the future, that'd be great :) 1. PB has endpoints at -2 and 12. What is the coordinate of its midpoint? 2. The midpoint of CD is E(-1, 0). One endpoint C(5, 2). What are the coordinates of the other endpoint? 3. What is the distance between P(-4, 3) and Q(6, 1)? Round to the nearest tenth.

1.-2+12/2=5. so 5 is the mid point

When you know both endpoints, the midpoint is found by finding the average....like the first one 2. You have to work backwards.... u will get other end-point as (-7, -2)

Okay! Thank you :) no wonder you have the title of a human calculator.

Can someone help me with the final one?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah so last one ....... Use distance formula , it says|dw:1411627048756:dw| HERE X1=-4, X2=6 SIMILARLY, Y2=1 AND Y1=3 substitute and get the answer ;)
