Okay so, I have

f(x)=10x+40

and g(x)= -1x-4

Find (3f+2g)(1)

I'm a bit confused because when i multiply f(x) by 3

do I multiply just the X

or am I multiplying it all
Is it now.

30x+120

or 30x+10
