Locate the prepositional phrase and identify its use. Everything in the house must be sold. Prepositional Phrase: Everything in the house Everything must be sold in the house Use: adjective adverb
@lianacarolina
okay in the house & adj
The PHRASE is "in the house" The use is saying where "everyething" (being the subject) is. Like Its giving extra detail about "everything". Remember a prepositional phrase adds information and begins with a preposition, but it cannot stand alone and does not have a complete subject or predicate.
For example, "In the morning" is the prepositional phrase of "In the morning I have breakfast. And in "They've grown inseperable through the years", "through the years" is the prepositional phrase.
