whats after (secxtanx)sec^2x

..........

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

use the product rule u = sec(x) v = tan(x) du/dx = sex(x)tan(x) dv/dx = sec^2(x) so \[\frac{dy}{dx}= u \times \frac{dv}{dx} + v \times \frac{du}{dx}\] just substitute and simplify. Hope it helps

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

oops should read du/dx = sec(x)tan(x)
