The Book is "The Third Wish" by Joan Aiken

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You can read it here http://staff.4j.lane.edu/~loo/8thLA/Third%20Wish.PDF @naxve

OpenStudy (anonymous):

#1 is D. In the text it says she is calling for her sister to wait for her in her sleep.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

#2 is B, because she wanted to be reunited with her sister.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you know the others?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

#3 is A. None of the other options would show conflict.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

#4 is D.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you so freaking much!!!! Do you mind helping me with one more?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

here is some of the others. @naxve

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@naxve Help me please?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you know any of them? I want to help you, not give away the answers. :p

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@naxve Yes ive been reading them but im so confused

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have ADD/ADHD and its really hard to focus and remember what im reading.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay. Well #1 would be A. She says how she does love Mr. Peters, but she also misses being a swan so that is the conflict.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

#2 would be B. Because she is stating that she does love him, but misses her old life.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

#3 I would say that Mr. Peters is happy. Although his wife turned back into a swan, he still visits and talks with her. The swans even protected Mr. Peters from being robbed. Wishing for a wife may not have necessarily been putting his wish to good use, but turning her back into one and making her happy was.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For #4, adverbs modify verbs, adjectives, and other adverbs. So B.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

#5, gracefully is the adverb, so it's modifying danced.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

#6 Coordinate adjectives are adjectives that appear in sequence with one another to modify the same noun. So C, because long, dusty is modifying path.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Done! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you!1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

These are the last few

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@naxve

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I would say #7 is is B, because if you act rashly that means you act quickly without thinking about the consequences.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Dabbling is to immerse (one's hands or feet) partially in water and move them around gently. So #8 is A.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And malicious means hateful, so #9 would be C. And it looks like #10 will be one you have to do yourself. :)

Thank you so much!
