Hmm...

OpenStudy (141823):

I was making my own study guide for a test tomorrow and one of the sections ask that I show and understand a geometry problem with a factoring step, since I'm supposed to create the problem I don't really know what to do.

sammixboo (sammixboo):

What exactly is a 'factoring step' ?? Never really heard of it...

OpenStudy (141823):

So, when we do our "Proofs" one of the steps for the problem has to have factoring to prove the conclusion is true

sammixboo (sammixboo):

I am not sure I can help you here

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i never heard of factoring step and i dont have the time to help because im in a science portfolio. sorry.

OpenStudy (141823):

Ok

OpenStudy (141823):

Its like when we have a word problem with the Supplement of a Complement is equal to whatever then when you translate the word problem you get an equation and that equation simplifies to x^2 + x -30 = 0 or something like that
