The table below shows the number of hours high school students of different cities of two states spend on outdoor activities each week: State A 17 3 15 12 14 21 18 3 16 State B 14 12 10 13 15 14 12 15 11 Part A: Why is the histogram for State A different in shape, center, and spread than the histogram for State B? Part B: In which state did the students spend more average time on outdoor activities? Justify your answer.

Notice that StataA has few outliers on lower end (3)

those outliers make the histogram skew toward left however State B doesn't seem to have any outliers, so the histogram for this should look more or less uniform

For State A, the outliers on left shifts the center to left. For State B, the center stays around the median
