I would write the problem as
\[ \frac{4 x^3}{3} \cdot \frac{9\cdot 9^2}{x^3} \]
and simplify by dividing x^3 by x^3 and 9 by 3
\[ \frac{4 \cancel{x^3}}{\cancel3} \cdot \frac{\cancel9 3\cdot 9^2}{\cancel{x^3}} \]
in other words, you get
\[ 4\cdot 3\cdot 81 \]
which can be multiplied out
