The Battle of Phillipi started after the assassination of (Caesar)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The Battle of Phillipi took place in the year (October 3rd & 23rd of 42 B.C.)

Cassius built a transverse dam

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Cassius kills himself because he thought they lost the battle against Antony & Octavius

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Brutus defeated Octavius' army There were 2 different battles They lasted all day so 2 days I would assume Cassius' army fought Antony's army while Brutus found Octavius' Brutus kills himself because of the guilt & the ghost of Julius tells him to do so & Brutus is too afraid to disobey Brutus' final words are "Caesar, now be still, I kill'd not thee with half so good a will." Antony said that Brutus was the "noblest Roman"
