OpenStudy (one098):

Okay, give me a sec.

OpenStudy (one098):

So I can choose two options?

OpenStudy (jmansedg):

if they are right yes

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

just sub in your x and y values y = 12x (-1,-12)...x = -1 and y = -12 now sub y = 12x -12 = 12(-1) -12 = -12 (correct) so (-1,-12) are points on the line (-12,-1)...x = -12 and y = -1 now sub y = 12x -1 = 12(-12) -1 = - 144 (not even close) so these points are not on this line do you see how I am doing these ? Do you understand ? Can you see if the other points are on the line ?

Please do not start off posting a math problem with "i will give meadles." First of all, it's not necessary to bribe people to help you. Secondly, it's "medals" (not meadles). You could help yourself by explaining what you have already thought or done (if anything) towards solving this problem yourself. Example: Take a look at (12,1). Here, x=12 and y=1. Is y = 12x? In other words, is 1 equal to 12(12)? No? Then (12,1) is NOT a point on the line you're graphing.
