Am I solving for p or nah?

OpenStudy (shinalcantara):

-9p - 17 = 10 transpose -17 to the right side -9p = 10 + 17 -9p = 27 divide both sides by -9 p = -3

OpenStudy (shinalcantara):

\[\frac{ x }{ 3 } - 10 = -12\] transpose 10 to the right side just like the first one.. What will you get?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well Jeesh there you go dominique^ @dominique5

The answer to the Last question is x=-6

OpenStudy (shinalcantara):

\[\frac{ x }{ 3 } - 10 = -12\] transpose -10 to the right \[\frac{ x }{ 3 } = -12 + 10\] \[\frac{ x }{ 3 } = -2\] cross multiply 3 to the right \[x = -2(3)\] \[x = -6\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1.x=16 2.x=4
