Can someone please tell me the meaning of diversify and why it's important?

Diversification is when a person has multiple stocks in their portfolio. This is much safer because even if one stock is doing poorly, the other stocks in your portfolio will probably offset any loss of money that may have occurred.

Diversity provides a lesson for each of us to be okay with and open to those things that set us apart – race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, physical and mental ability, language (the list goes on) and understanding and accepting of people for who they are.

diversity provides a lesson for each of us to be okay with and open to those things that set us apart from other. sexuality, race, gender, language, (list could go forever). and be understanding and accepting to those who are different.
