WILL FAN AND MEDAL!!! I have to write a compare and contrast essay on having kids young vs having kids older and I need major help!!!!!!
I'm the oldest in a large family...might be able to help. What do you need help with?
one of my topics for each one has to be quality of life and i dunno what my teacher means by that @Thebadassleek
As for quality of life, they mean how you'll be able to live. For example,if you have toddlers, you have to spend money on childcare, or else stay at home with them, which means you won't have as much money for other things. Not to mention diapers, formula, etc
So how would i do that for both teen parents and adult parents?
Well, you could say that if you're a teen parent, you might have to drop out of school, which means that you won't be able to go to college and your job options might be limited. If you become a parent as an adult, you'll probably be able to support them more comfortably.
ohh i gotcha now! thank you so much :)
No problem
Mychelynn... I think a good edition to your essay would be the comparison of patience between the teens and the adults and how this might effect the way a child was raised or even what the two different aged people might do things differently
even how the two**
Some other topics to think about: Job stability/income vs. cost of a child Time it takes to know your partner, as in divorce potential/single parenting vs. know each other well enough to stick together. You don't need to cover everything. Find a range to comment about, but then focus on just a few. So you can say, "There are many aspects to look at, such as bla, bla, bla, but I am going to focus on just..." Shows that you have thought about the issues as a whole.
Thanks! @Jlockwo3 @e.mccormick
your welcome. refrain from statements that say I, me and I think...unless your teacher requested that this is an opinion piece, you should write it as if you know these things to be a fact instead of opinion
@Jlockwo3 good point. papers like this tend to be based on sources and what can be shown from them.
