After the American Revolution, how were women treated?

My thoughts on this question are:

They were still not aloud to vote, so they basically still had no rights or authority on anything! Altho they made some progress in the ability to do a mans work, they were still excluded from any and all political activities!

They were not allowed to vote, they did not have actuall right or authority or very little at home and in society.
