If I made $98 per hour, and I was working for 13 hours per day, how much money would I ha ave in two weeks. 3rd grade math. Please help my bro for medal and fan

@tinybookworm @nsellers23 @grray7 @Dan815

OpenStudy (anonymous):

6370$ if you work a 5 day week.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks @grray7

OpenStudy (math&ing001):

Multiply $98 by the amount of hours you work (ie. 13 hours * 10 days)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

=)

OpenStudy (math&ing001):

@gray7 please don't give away answers directly, refer to http://openstudy.com/code-of-conduct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What?!? @grray7

OpenStudy (gorv):

one day amount=98*13=1274

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I apologize, that was rude.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes it was @grray7

OpenStudy (gorv):

so you have have two weeks that is = 14 days you have to calculate for 14 days and you know how much you earn in day so multiply that with 14

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah, but take the number I said and multiply by 2 for your 2 week amount.

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

keep in mind, it also depends if you work a 5 day week or a 7 day week

OpenStudy (math&ing001):

If you consider Saturday and Sunday as non-working days, it's 10 days. If not, it's 14 days.

OpenStudy (gorv):

well if it was so than it would have mentioned in the Q itself

sammixboo (sammixboo):

See the first thing you find out is how much money you make a day, so you multiply 13 by 98 to find out how much money you make a day. \(\sf \large \color{red}{7~Day~Work~Week}\) Since in this situations there are 7 days you work in the week, you take the answer to 13 x 98, and multiply it by 14, since you are trying to find out how much money you will have if you work for 2 weeks. So basically you are doing \(\sf \large \color{red}{(13 x 98)14}\) \(\sf \large \color{red}{5~Day~Work~Week}\) Since in this situations there are 5 days you work in the week, you take the answer to 13 x 98, and multiply it by 10, since you are trying to find out how much money you will have if you work for 2 weeks. Same thing as above, but 10 instead of 14 \(\sf \large \color{red}{(13 x 98)10}\)

sammixboo (sammixboo):

A lot of money ahaha

sammixboo (sammixboo):

You understand @prettybunny123456

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes I do thank you. Now try explaining that to my brother lol

sammixboo (sammixboo):

Ah just try reading what I said to him. I tried my best to break it down
