First you have to do what is in the parentheses.. \(\sf \color{red}{(8~x~-6)}\) With multiplying opposite integers (positive and negative) you just multiply the absolute value of the numbers (Absolute value of -6 is 6 and the absolute value of 8 is 8) and make the answer negative.. So what is \(\sf \color{red}{8~x~6}\)? Once you have figured that out make the answer negative and tell em what you got.
