ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):
since your remainder is 8, i think you should tick True
OpenStudy (darkbluechocobo):
Ah i was confused
OpenStudy (darkbluechocobo):
so if it was the opposite it would be false?
ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):
your work for synthetic division looks Perfect !
OpenStudy (darkbluechocobo):
well thank you :D now that you told me that i think i can get them all right :p aha

i can see :)
OpenStudy (darkbluechocobo):
Could you explain to me how to start off this one though? Use the remainder theorem and synthetic division to find the value of f(2) for f(x) = 2x^3 − 4x^2 + 85
OpenStudy (darkbluechocobo):
so like would this be f(x)/x+2?
ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):
f(x) / (x-2)
OpenStudy (darkbluechocobo):
so it is the opposite when written out like that?

remainder theorem tells you :
the remainder of f(x)/(x-2) is same as f(2)
