Factor 72 x^2-50 y^2

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

well if you notice a couple of things 72 = 2 x 36 50 = 2 x 25 so I'd start with \[2(36x^2 - 25y^2)\] now the expression inside the brackets is the difference off 2 squares. hope that helps
