ok, this is not for me. this is for my little sister. and i need it spelled out for her. because she is not listening to me.

7-4+3x0+1=

I know the answer is 4. Order of operations tell me it is 4, my calculator (scientific) says it is 4. But she is not listening. So I need some help.

3*0 is 0

now there is just addition and subtraction
you take care of it as it occurs left to right

I really think you should not argue with your sister but be very nice and calm when you explain to her that whatever she is doing in school you already did and you are there to help her. She should consider the personal attention she is getting especially if she wants more free time.
