Someone please help. Fan / Medal Graph the first six terms of a sequence where a1 = -10 and d = 3.

@tkhunny

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

You'll have to figure out the graph. This is an Arithmetic Sequence. Start with a1 and keep adding the difference. -10 -7 -4 etc.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The difference is 3, correct? @tkhunny

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

d = 3 -- Yup.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so because its a positive three and a negative ten, does that mean that graph should be rising and not decreasing?

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

-10 has nothing to do with rising or falling. That's just where it starts. +3 every time. Rising in a straight line.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

these are my options. I think its A

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it was correct. (:

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

That's the one that starts at -10 and moves up 3 every time.
