Molecular motion is a measure of the movement of the molecules in a substance. Molecular motion is substantially different between the different states of matter. For example, the molecules in _______ move more than the molecules in _______. A. wood, air B. air, wood C. wood, soda D. soda, air

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this might be tricky

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Its not really that tricky. The molecules move the fastest in gas, then liquid then solid. So B is the only one that makes sense because air is a gas (kinda) and wood is a solid. All the other answer choices say that liquid, or a solid move faster than air.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This one is easy molecules move better in gass and water then Solids. :) Hope this can be of some help ^◡^
