What type of training or education will I need to get a job in this career in the future?: Minimum of a high school education, selected infantry, for your job field and you would have to have a proficiency in firearms, with organizational skills and the ability to teach 5. Why did you decide to do this type of work?: From a young age I wanted to join the military, I had an interest in firearms, which led me to the infantry field and based on my abilities, I was selected to teach others what I know. 6. What do you like most about your job?: I liked taking my knowledge and using it to prepare newer Marines for what they may face, when they are deployed around the world. 7. What do you like least about your job?: I liked the hours the least, because I had to start very early in the morning and finish very late at night, to make sure everything was there for the students. 8. Will there be many jobs like yours available in the future? Why?: As long as our country is required to have a military, there will be jobs in this field available. 9. What is the typical salary range for someone in this field?: 2,000+ based on your rank what the federal government sets the military pay scale at. 10. What benefits are typically offered in this occupation (health insurance, life insurance, bonuses, paid vacations, flexible working hours, on-site child care)?: Medical, Dental, Housing, Food/Meals and should you choose to stay with the career, a Retirement 11. What physical demands does this occupation require (long periods of sitting, standing, lifting 50+ pounds, hazards)?: Physically fit, ability to handle stress, and work long, varying hours.
