open circle simply implies that it doesn't include the number itself but rather the number less than or greater than depending on the inequality sign (say >, <) x - 3 < -9 x < -9 +3 x < -6 then you'll have the graph as: |dw:1412001527144:dw|

So c :D Because it has an open circle on -6 shading to the left, and a closed circle would then be on 7 shading to the right!
