Which polynomial is written in descending order? 9 - 3x + 4x2 -3x + 9 + 4x2 4x2 - 3x + 9 4x2 + 9 - 3x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Polynomials are in the following format \[ax^2+bx+c\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so 4x^2 + 9 -3x is the answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No, see it goes X^2, then X then the lone number. so it would be 4X^2-3X+9. Does that make sense?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah

Glad I could help!

Side side that it is descending order because the highest power is to the right and lowest (no power) is to the left. If is was ascending it would be the other way around
