@Preetha i would like to start a group on openstudy... to make LaTeX more known... as well as a team to teach it... and a forum like post for it... heres the link to the current forum post: http://openstudy.com/study#/updates/54298d4fe4b07dbd8ca02459
Erm.. You do know that there's a section for \(\color{cornflowerblue}{\LaTeX}\) already, right?
I think that opening a post as an official forum would require you bumping your question as often as possible. Admins can't force posts to stay on top, and eventually your bump button will look like Thomaster's did (Bump in 88888888888 or whatever). I love \(\color{cornflowerblue}{\LaTeX}\) as much as the next guy, especially making art with it and seeing other users make art, though I'm not sure a forum post would change anything. Rockstar and people like him make posts all the time saying "Practice Post, anyone can join in.", but eventually there would be too much stuff on the post for it to load properly. \(\rlap{\Huge\color{#21BBF5}{\heartsuit\textrm{Good Luck!}\heartsuit}}{\Huge\color{#0787B8}{\;\heartsuit\textrm{Good Luck!}\heartsuit}}\)

I AGREE
@Jaynator495 u do know we have LaTeX queens, princess, Kings right?
There are already threads that explain this very well, @thomaster has a great one which I'm too lazy to link but you can check his profile to see his legendary tutorial on LaTeX.
yea i know... its more then just latex... as ive said already ._.
BUT, it's still cool you're doing this, I'm sure people will look at it especially if you have more than just what has been said before :).
i think its gonna turn out a pretty good group ._.
I'm just not sure I understand this.. Why do we need 26 positions of authority for a single forum? I thoroughly enjoy bragging about my love for \(\LaTeX\), and I'm sure some abbreviated title would help show that love, but I'm unsure of what exactly this whole thing will accomplish :T Mind explaining?
lol its a REALLY huge explnation but fine xD
1 we not only help with latex... but we make it... develop it... code it... we also teach... improve... upgrade... and help improve openstudy ;)... all the 30 posistions are to show what you do in the group and what say you have in the group desisions and the power you have over the group ;)
2 ultrilliam is something that.... blah blah blah... so thats ultrilliam (WAAAAYYYY to lonmg of a back story to go into... LOL)
3 we hope to get openstudy noticed more
4 we hope to get thousands of new users to help in other subjects... not just math...
5 we want people to get help as fast as they do in math... in ALL subjects... with 100's of people to do it.
theres a lot more but im not gonna go into right now... ill delete this and finish tomorow most likely... ;)...
heres a little taste of the team image
Pft, I've been trying to improve \(\LaTeX\) for ages. OS doesn't control \(\LaTeX\). It's just a tool. Look at the history of posts on the practice sections and you'll see fifty from me alone, and that's not even a fraction of the ideas posted by every user over the past several years. Examples; `\(\spectrum{2pt}{color}{#FFFFFF};{#000000}\)` `\(\{40}\bbox{2pt}\color{#FFFFFF};{#000000}\)` etc, etc. No one on OS can own, manage, or perfect \(\LaTeX\) without actually being affiliated with it. Besides, it took the OS team weeks to memorize the unorganized coding making up OS. You would have to be capable of comprehending and molding those scripts to benefit OS.
Though 4 and 5 sound like Mods and Profs.
i didnt mean it like that dangerous! lol
