4-t=3(t - 1)- 5

OpenStudy (kl0723):

distribute the 3 into (t-1) what do you get?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That is the problem i have no idea

OpenStudy (kl0723):

ok np :)

OpenStudy (kl0723):

we need to multiply 3 with "t" first and then with the 1... so 3 times "t" equals: 3t and 3 times 1 equals: 3

OpenStudy (kl0723):

so you have 3 now use the same sign which is in this case a minus (-) and then 3 that will be: 3t-3 :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh, omg i am such an idge, i should've known that i anytime a number is alone and right next store to a variable , it is the number right next to the varaible

OpenStudy (kl0723):

so now your equation will look like this: 4 - t = 3t - 3 - 5

OpenStudy (kl0723):

move all the t terms into the left and whole numbers to the right... what do you get?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry haven't had enough of the fiene

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i will see if i can get this
