OpenStudy (anonymous):

What processes turn sediment into sedimentary rock? A. melting and cooling B. plants or animals becoming trapped between layers of sediment C. compaction and cementation of sediment D. weathering and erosion

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think A or C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its a

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The processes of compaction and cementation of this sediment over a long period of time turn the sediment into rock.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how can a rock melt? u don't melt a rock to get hardened sediment rocks, SO IT IS OBVIOUSLY NOT A! it can't be plants or animals so b is out and weathering and erosion is not the correct one so C is the answer. @lilgeek
