When writing this, you are trying to introduce a favorite of yours, but you also have to explain to the people who haven't heard of this movie.
This goes to both audiences.
Now you are sharing to a group of friends. You feel more comfortable with them, don't you? So if you are more comfortable with someone, what do you usually end up doing?
