Since we are looking for actual limit, we really don't need l'hospital.

I say this because the top will give positive number.
But the bottom will be negative for numbers approaching from right.
And the bottom will be positive for numbers approaching on the left.
pi-4x>0 when x<pi/4
pi-4x<0 when x>pi/4
So the left and right limit will not equal.
