the negative indicate a fraction power so it \[3^{-3} = \frac{1}{3^3}\] now just evaluate it

No that isn't right @Cregannn It is 1/27, because of what @campbell_st said. That is what I got. In decimal form it is 0.037037037. 3^3 would equal 27 though
