in general to convert from vertex to intercept form vertex form a(x-h)^2 + k = 0 h = -b/2a and k = -c/a + b^2/4a^2 a(x-h)^2 + k = ax^2 -2axh + ah^2 + k h = -b/2a and ah^2 + k = c ax^2 -2ax(-b/2a) + c = 0 ax^2 +bx + c = 0

OpenStudy (triciaal):

the question is not very clear to me can you post the quadratic?

I just dont know how to convert y=a(x-33)^2+5 which I think is vertex into interpet form.@triciaal

OpenStudy (triciaal):

h = 33 = -b/2a and k = 5 = -c/a + (-b/2a)^2 a = -b/66

OpenStudy (triciaal):

a(x - 33)^2 + 5 =0 a(x - 33)^2 + 5 =0 a(x ^2 -66x + 33^2 )= 0 ax^2 -66ax + a*33^2 + 5 = 0 were you given the value of a ?

OpenStudy (triciaal):

y=a(x-33)^2+5 were you given the value of a?
