The side length of a square is 3x + 2, what is the perimeter of the square in terms of x?

The perimeter would be 4 times the length of one side. So just multiply the length of one side by 4 and you get: 4 * (3x +2) = 12x + 8 So the perimeter would be 12x+8 units long.
