TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Moderators Can you make a title that costs 50 smart cents for physics?

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

@Ashleyisakitty @ganeshie8 @preetha @Compassionate @poopsiedoodle

OpenStudy (compassionate):

I suppose we could, and in the future, yes, but there are different priorities at the moment. We'll make sure to keep the community updated on new titles. Expect to see some new ones soon.

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Mods do not make anything. The development team works for OpenStudy and is paid. Mods are volunteers. The long term goal of the titles is to have them for everything. But that will not be happening anytime soon due to recent Orange War issues.

OpenStudy (preetha):

I need some suggestions for a good set of Physics titles. Any clever funny ones?

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

For 50 medals it can be Walking Physics Book For 500 medals it can be Einstein For 3000 medals it can be Secret Club of Physicists

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

medals/ smartcents ... @Preetha

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Hmmm.... I was hoping for more funny in them.

OpenStudy (compassionate):

50: Manhattan Project 500: Robert Oppenheimer 3,000: Now I have become death, the destroyer of worlds :P @e.mccormick

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

...

OpenStudy (compassionate):

You said you wanted something funnier :P Hehe

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

You did not go funny. You went nuclear. 50 Physics Nerd 500 Kelvin's Kousin 3000 Universal Answers

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Or 3000 could just be "Groks 42" but that might be too deep for some to get.

OpenStudy (librarian):

LMAO GROKS 42!!!! LOLOLOL!

OpenStudy (compassionate):

"You did not go funny. You went nuclear." - Eric Mccormack (actor) 500 should be Kelvin Klein....

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Hmmm.... Someone got Groks 42, which really is the goal of physics. OK, so: 50 Physics Nerd 500 Kelvin Klein 3000 Groks 42 A nerd being an enthusiast; Kelvin Klein being someone with physics in their genes; and Groks 42 is the innate and encompassing understanding of the answer to life, the universe, and everything.

OpenStudy (compassionate):

"Physics in their genes." That's probably one of the best puns I've heard.

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

So @preetha are you guys going to make a title for Physics now? There a lot of good names to choose from..

OpenStudy (micahm):

how about Physics of life @Compassionate @e.mccormick

OpenStudy (compassionate):

No. Kelvin Klein.

OpenStudy (micahm):

how about Physics of life

OpenStudy (micahm):

After all Physics is about life and thing work in life like energy how that works and heat, electricity, magnetism, radiation, and atomic and nuclear science and so forth

OpenStudy (micahm):

what do you think

OpenStudy (compassionate):

It's not funny.

OpenStudy (micahm):

what it's a good name

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

One that is fun and descriptive.

OpenStudy (gorv):

for 3000 cent electro atom

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How about something related to dark energy and dark matter :P, slightly mysterious but filled with a vastness of universal knowledge, haha unless they discover something and then you'll have to rename it again. And cmon guys there has to be an owlstein somewhere around there :)

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Owlstein is actually a pretty good title... @iambatman

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Helping at the speed of light!

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Also another good title... :) @iambatman

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

I like Owlstein too.

OpenStudy (nightwielder):

50 ??? 500 Psychic Physicist 3000 Owlstien Psychic Physicist can help you where you really need help, like a psychic, something like that. I liked iambatman 's for the awesome idea. He helped at the speed of "night".

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

"Helping at the speed of light!" is one of those long ones. I think they work better when short.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh I didn't mean helping at the speed of light as a title, just a little motto next to Owlstein :P

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

I think Owlstein should be for 3000.

OpenStudy (abhisar):

or maybe sheldon cooper for 3000 :D

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

@Abhisar This is the open post for suggestions. :) http://openstudy.com/study#/updates/5458e339e4b0a717ff623628
