I vote but we must do something to not let people give just one person 3 medals in one post thats why OS doesn't like this cause people take advantage

if there are three people on a question they can each give each other medals as they see fit. for example if user A asks a question and user B starts to help then user C jumps in to clarify and user A is able to guess out the rest of the answer by themselves then user B can give a medal to user A user A can give a medal to user C and user C can give a medal to user B everyone would be happy that way xD but of course it doesn't always work that way, but it does happen :P
@sleepyhead314 lol ikr??? i do that too sometimes :')
@sleepyhead314 yea but then you would have to coordinate it out. Also what if 3 people were helping one person. It would get complicated and messy
True!!! Voted, but we all have to know we have another side......Mods... They're probably not going to allow it because it'll create "medal parties"..
I like this idea. When more than one people helps you out, you can't give more than one medal. You gotta try and convince people to give medals to others so everyone gets one.
However, it can be very abusive.

I did too.
Hello @justsmile531 ! Thank you for sharing the noble idea. But if you take a close look at the medal system it is actually voting for the Best response and not to every one who help us but to the one who helped us in the best way.

I agree with what @Abhisar said...
Yep. "Best response" is meant for the most insightful and thoughtful comment in the thread. If this feature to be installed we would need to ask ourselves; How can this be abused? How will this effect Openstudy's smartscore system overall? How will this change the meaning of the value of a 'medal'? I am content with the current system.. My only suggestion is to see what comment exactly got the medal out of the thread.

I voted 3 times c:
How about a moderator goes to the question on request and if two or more people helped he can give access to two medals. That way it would not create medal parties.
I gave 3 votes some time before. The number is still 121. So I gave 3 votes again. It shows that I put 3 votes but doesn't change the number. *steaming ears*
Steam from ears is working as a pressure cooker. I have cooked my brain.
My brain is burnt now.
I'm a StealthOwl. So, I still live.
I would like to overvote this idea.

Hm, I think it would be best if you just give a medal to the person that best helped you.
we used to have that type of system .. it was abused way to much so they abandoned it for this current one.

yay
How about first best answer, second best answer, and third best answer. Like a ranking system. When people get the most medals for that question they become the first best answer. @amistre64 @genova254 @Conqueror @Samus_Aran @nightwielder @iGreen
