Are all right triangles isosceles triangles? Are all equilateral triangles isosceles triangles? Are some right triangles isosceles triangles? Are all triangles either isosceles or equilateral triangles? No triangle has two right angles? Are some equilateral triangles obtuse triangles?

OpenStudy (pottersheep):

No

OpenStudy (pottersheep):

Isosceles means that 2 side lengths are the same, 1 is different

OpenStudy (pottersheep):

but it's possible to have a right angle triangle in which all 3 sides are different (i.e. 5,6,7)

OpenStudy (pottersheep):

in which case it would be scalene, not isosceles
