@TedBunny

OpenStudy (shaleiah):

i'm guessing B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Why do you say that?

OpenStudy (shaleiah):

it doesn't seem to be peaceful solitude.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, it's obviously not D or C, and I'm pretty sure it's not B. I'm leaning more towards A because the speaker says "Now where will I find refuge when my mind needs to be still" in reference to the place the river used to be. I'm not sure though.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is A, since it was his peaceful solitude till the builders put a dam there, disrupting his peace.

OpenStudy (shaleiah):

Alright, and what do you think the mood of this poem is ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, obviously not indifferent. Confused and restless aren't quite right. I'd go with disappointed.

OpenStudy (shaleiah):

do you agree @ManImStumped ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I thought it was confused, cause he asks in the end 'Where would I go now', but disappointed works. I'm not really sure. Go with @TedBunny

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I as leaning more towards disappointment because the way it's set up made me think more of a loss than confusion, but I'm not sure. Disappointment seems right to me, though.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The disappointment it is!
