Which of the following statements are true regarding functions? Check all that apply. A function is a relation in which each value of the input variable is paired with exactly one value of the output variable. A sequence is a function whose domain is the set of real numbers. The vertical line test may be used to determine whether a function is one-to-one. The horizontal line test may be used to determine whether a function is one-to-one.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

what are you ideas/thoughts about it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think that all of them apply. I'm a bit skeptical about the domain one, although.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

the domain of a sequence tends to be positive integers, so id say that ones out the vertical line test, since its already assumed to be a function, then the vertical line test is redundant to me I cant read A, it may or may not be saying something true, and the last one seems fair to me

OpenStudy (amistre64):

if A is saying that there is a unique y for any given x, then yes. but i simply cant tell what its saying

A was confusing me as well, it could really go either way. Thank you, though for the help. Would you want to help me out with one other question by any chance?
