find the angular speed ω of the hour hand of a clock. I did this: 2π/12*3600 and got π/21600. But the answer is supposed to be π/6. I'm a little confused. Can someone explain this to me?

Your answer is correct!! You just happened to do more work than you needed to. You converted the angular frequency nicely into standard SI units of [rad/s]. Obviously, the problem just wanted the frequency in units of [rad/hr], in which: 2pi [rad]/ 12 [hr] = pi/6 [rad/hr]

Gah, you're right, I get it now.Thank you so much.
