you have 2 points (x1, y1) and (x2, y2) find the slope slope = change in y / corresponding change in x slope, m = y2 -y1/x2 - x1 parallel lines have the same slope so the slope of the parallel line is the same as the slope of AB = m the line passes through the origin, (0, 0)
