The water potential of a plant tissue can be determined by the following principle. If the tissue shows no net gain or loss of water when immersed in a solution of known molarity, its water potential is equal to that of the external solution. Samples of the tissue are allowed to come to equilibrium in a range of solutions of different concentrations. When the tissue shows neither an increase nor a decrease in mass or length, the water potential of the potato tissue is the same as that of the external solution. What is the control variable? What is the hypothesis? Example of a lab title?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Also, name at least 6 expiremental constants

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

this looks like chemistry lab hw

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

sorry i have no idea how to help you...this is too specific i only have a general knowledge of chemistry

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

let me see

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

wait, control and experimental constant should be the same thing

OpenStudy (anonymous):

op?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

which one is that?

OpenStudy (perl):

op = original poster (that's you)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

o lol

OpenStudy (perl):

the control is not the same as the experimental constant , but im not 100% sure in this case

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

but my teacher told us a control is something you control, you don;t wan change the control variables

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i need the control variable the most

OpenStudy (caozeyuan):

I get confused

OpenStudy (gorv):

i think it is osmosis process
