Why were Georgians reluctant to join the colonists in the revolution?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Like many colonists, Georgians were divided on the issues of the Revolutionary War. The colony was reluctant to join the revolution at first because Georgia was self-sufficient, had no objections to the Intolerable Acts. was financially dependent on Great Britain, and had a long, successful history of self-government. Thanks!
