Lyra and Donna are testing the two-way radios they built for their high school science project. Lyra goes to the top of a building that is 22 meters high with one of the radios and stands directly above the building’s entrance. Donna walks out of the entrance, perpendicular to the building, with the other radio. If Donna is more than 50 meters from the entrance, the connection between the radios breaks. What is the range of communication for the two radios to the nearest meter? 50 meters 55 meters 62 meters 72 meters

draw it out like this:

12
idk what your getting at when you do that lol
same thing with the tent
Even though the building is not going to be a triangle, that's the shape you get when you set up the problem. The 22 is the height of the building and the 50 is how far away the other girl can walk from the building before they lost connection.
so how do you figure out the answer?
wait sorry its not 12
multiply 20 by 20 and 50 by 50
then add the products together
and press √
50 x 50 = 1200 and 20 x 20 = 400
then add the products together
1200 + 400
whats sum?
1600
now press the square root button on your calculator
idk what ?????????????????????????????????????????????? that means
40
