\[\frac{ x+2 }{ 3 }=-4\]
To get rid of the fraction you multiply by the denominator
\[3(\frac{ x+2 }{ 3 })=-4(3)\]
This is where im confused I think the numerator is suppose to be multiplied as well if i do it that way i get x=-6
\[3x+6=-12\]
\[3x=-18\]
\[x=-6\]
But this isn't an option so I'm guessing numerator stays the same
\[x+2=-12\]
\[x=-14\]

this was the last one
