milk of magnesia is sometimes used as remedy for "acid stomach". Would you expect the of milk of magnesia to be less the 7, more than 7 or 7? Why?

Fresh milk has a pH of 6.7 and is therefore slightly acidic

To treat acidity or acid stomach we need something basic in nature. Milk of magnesia is basic and anything basic has a pH > 7
