How many solutions does the equation have? 2(2x+5)=4(x+3) I will medal/fan

OpenStudy (radar):

the only way I would answer that is to solve and see how many solutions. I think I would clear the parentheses first. That would give me: 4x + 10 = 4x + 3 One can immediately see that the equation is inconsistent and has no solutions.
