Solve 4(x + 1) = 4x + 4 No solution 0 All real numbers 1 I think it would be all real numbers because I got 4x = 4x.. Can someone tell me if I'm correct?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Your correct (: Because 4(x + 1) = 4x + 4 is true

OpenStudy (anonymous):

distribute left side: 4x + 4 = 4x + 4 both sides are the same!!! this means that whatever value you substitute in for x will appear on both sides and be true. All real numbers.

Okay, thank you both! I was pretty sure my answer was right but I didn't want to submit in in my quiz unless I knew for sure.
