Eventually.. Most apps put there app on Apple first, to fix all the bugs, ad once the majority of the bugs have been fixed, the put the app on Android. That might what OpenStudy is doing.

Long long ago, I programmed a Android app for OpenStudy. It did not use any APIs rather it scraped the site, then reordered it into the app to look more flushed. It is not if OpenStudy will make an Android app (they surely will as there is a greater market share of Android devices then Apple) it is that will they release a public API system.
