@campbell_st

OpenStudy (triciaal):

http://goldenratiomyth.weebly.com/mathematical-definitions-of-phi.html According to this Phi is the most irrational fraction

OpenStudy (imtiaz7):

Phi is a finite but if it is a rrational then it is infinite so which is correct !!!:/

I am not your fan. I don't give answers just for giving answers. when I'm not sure I check books and the internet if time permits also tag people whose work I can trust to help the person asking.

OpenStudy (triciaal):

I don't know and I am not checking anymore, sorry

OpenStudy (gorv):

\[you talkin abt = \phi\]

OpenStudy (gorv):

abobe symbol after = sign u r talking about

OpenStudy (gorv):

it is a finite term

OpenStudy (aum):

Phi is finite. It is irrational. It is 1.618...... Being an irrational number it may have infinite number of decimal places but its value is clearly bounded and lies between 1.6 and 1.7. So phi is not infinite. It has a finite value.
