hello could some one help me on this question about probability and sets

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (loser66):

I put every thing in the same denominator like P(A) = 3/5 = 12/20 P(B) = 1/4= 5/20 P(Aor B)= 3/4 = 15/20 Is it ok to you?

OpenStudy (loser66):

Now, find P(A and B) = P(A)+P(B)-P(A or B) = 12/20 +5/20 -15/20 = 2/20

OpenStudy (loser66):

So, the whole thing is 20, and parts of them is shown as this Venn|dw:1412253586977:dw|

OpenStudy (loser66):

|dw:1412253632893:dw| because P (A) 12/20
