Joanne had a total of $115. She spent 23% of that $115 on a shirt. How much was the shirt? Just find out what 23% of 115 is. 23% is the same thing as 0.23. Multiply 0.23 and 115: 0.23 * 115 = $26.45
Your answer was wrong..you must've pressed 3 instead of 4.
That's another reason why you should explain your answer..so even if you make a mistake the other person might catch it.
you have to take 115 and x that bye 0.23
